Building the Best Free Resume Builder — For Everyone
One Simple Resume was created with a single belief: every job seeker deserves access to a professional, ATS-friendly resume — without spending money or handing over their personal data.
Our Mission
To remove every barrier between a job seeker and their dream role — starting with giving everyone access to the tools that were previously locked behind expensive subscriptions. A great resume shouldn't cost money to create.
What We Stand For
The principles that guide every decision we make.
Free, Forever
The free plan includes three templates, unlimited resumes and PDF export. Optional paid plans provide premium templates and additional AI credits.
Privacy First
The browser editor saves documents locally. Optional AI requests send relevant text for processing; review the privacy page and keep your own downloaded copies.
ATS Optimized
Use readable layouts and standard headings, then verify the text in your exported PDF. Employers use different systems; no template or score guarantees an interview.
Built for Everyone
Whether you're a fresh graduate, career switcher, senior executive, or creative professional, One Simple Resume has templates and tools tailored to your journey.
The Story Behind One Simple Resume
One Simple Resume started as a personal project after spending hours trying to create a clean, ATS-friendly resume using free tools — only to find that every decent option either cost money, required an account, or uploaded personal data to servers we didn't trust.
We built One Simple Resume to solve exactly that problem. Everything runs in your browser. Editing and PDF export have a free plan. Premium templates and additional AI credits are optional paid features. Just a powerful resume builder that works.
Use the public guides to prepare your content, compare layouts and check your exported document. The tools provide writing assistance and illustrative checks; hiring decisions remain with employers.
We're committed to keeping One Simple Resume free. We're just getting started.
